ABOUT DR. CARLSON


Dr. Carlson received his D.D.S. from the University of Illinois, Chicago Medical Center, in 1969. He served in the United States Navy as an intern at Oaknoll Naval Hospital in a rotational dental internship program and as a dental officer on the U.S.S. Samuel Gompers. Upon completion of his military training, he attended the University of Washington for two years of periodontic and two years of orthodontic graduate school, at which time he also served on the periodontic faculty teaching on both graduate and undergraduate levels. Following his graduate training, Dr. Carlson has maintained a full-time private practice in Bellevue, Washington, limited to orthodontics and periodontics. His coordinated management and documentation of treatment of complex dental cases has provided the reference for numerous lectures and clinics throughout the United States, in Canada, Europe, and South America.

Besides being passionate about his work, Dr. Carlson is an avid fisherman. His staff loves that he often shares his catch by bringing in his own smoked salmon for everyone to enjoy! Dr. Carlson is active in many study groups and keeps updated in both his specialties by attending continuing edcuation classes.  He has recently become a premier provider for Invisalign, completing over 100 cases.
